Le Mans type Group 4 Prototypes, built
between the mid-1960s up to 1974
2008 will be World Sportscar Masters’ fourth season
with Masters and promises more exhilarating racing from the Group 4 period of
endurance racing. Covering a wide range
of evocative and powerful sports cars, from Ferrari to Porsche 917s, Lola T70s
to Alfa Romeo 33/3s, from Chevrons to Abarths, the series generally provides
two shorter sprint races over a weekend.
With all cars running on Dunlop period treaded tyres, and a number of
class wins up for grabs, close dramatic racing is ensured throughout the field
at every event.
